                       Colorado Air Guard Participates In Red Flag 14-1 
An F-16 Fighting Falcon takes off for a sortie training mission during Red Flag 14-1, Jan. 30, 2014, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Combat units come together from the U.S. and its allied countries to engage in realistic combat training scenarios within Nellis AFB’s 2.9 million acre Test and Training Range Complex. A B-2 Spirit takes off during Red Flag 14-1, Jan. 28, 2014, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. The B-2 is a multi-role bomber capable of delivering both conventional and nuclear munitions. Red Flag gives Airmen an opportunity to experience realistic, stressful combat situations in a controlled environment to increase their combat readiness and effectiveness.
